Amica Science started with a simple belief: the animals in our homes deserve better food — and the people who care for them deserve a clearer path to find it.

We make freeze-dried raw treats and toppers, plus organic mushroom extracts, for dogs and cats. Every SKU is built around real ingredients you can name, processes we control, and outcomes you can see in daily life: enrichment, appetite, coat, gut comfort, and everyday resilience.

Our organic extracts are formulated for animals with the same care we bring to our food line — transparent ingredients, clear supplemental use, and science-led choices (including HPLC-backed mushroom work where we publish it).

From wild salmon we use more of the fish, to whole-prey quail and enrichment hides, we design for nutrition and engagement — because a meal is also an experience.

Built from the supply chain up.

We invested in our own freeze-dry infrastructure and sourcing relationships instead of copying commodity playbooks. Different products get different processes — on purpose.

Who’s behind Amica

Amica Science is led by Jeff Tassill. The brand grew out of a lifelong curiosity about animal wellbeing — especially nutrition and engagement — and a stubborn refusal to settle for “good enough” bags on a shelf.

We’re based in the Seattle area and ship across the U.S. Whether you shop for a dog, a cat, or both, our job is the same: make better food easy to choose, easy to trust, and worth repeating.
